Often, we are blessed with the opportunity to do good work and to simply do good at the same time. We take very seriously the responsibility of helping THEC inspire the youth of Tennessee toward higher education.
| Insight: W+A conducted a comprehensive study of 450 teenagers and parents all across Tennessee. We learned that many parents have an almost paralyzing fear of the process of planning, applying an paying for college. | Action: The overall Higher Education, Put Your Mind to It campaign focuses largely on an aggressive online effort centered around a teen-focused website. For parents, we created the niche Frantic campaign using traditional media. | Results: The campaign has interacted with 250,000+ Tennessee teens. We’ve also been good stewards of the state’s budget, spending just $236,000 to air $1,965,330 worth of television and radio spots. The campaign was awarded “best of show” by the Memphis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. |
