History

Agency founder Deloss Walker laid the firm’s foundation of success, launching political careers in more than a dozen states, and corporate brands all across the Southeast. Prior to founding Walker + Associates in Memphis in 1965, he served in the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions in combat during the battle of Heartbreak Ridge. In 1987, in recognition of an “entire career of outstanding accomplishment and contribution in advertising,” Deloss Walker was named the Silver Medal Award winner, the Memphis Advertising Federation’s highest honor.
